Hello world- its a rainy day in Boise, but we have been working away in our studio! We would like to share a little bundle of joy that can make any rainy day better.. drum roll please!! Introducing baby Reagan-awww! Michelle & Justin chose our Chance wedding invitation for their baby announcement. Dear Ampersand can customize any invitation for all occasions, not just wedding invitations- how sweet is that?! Shown in the image is a two-sided announcement that is an available option. They paired their matte cardstock announcement with the "Napa" envelope.

First things first, how could you not love the new Ashley invitation!? Jessica is a client that we created this custom Ashley invitation for- which is now available on our website for purchase and customization. The Ashley stationery has all the components to match: Insert, RSVP, Save the Date, Table Number, Program & Menu. It's the perfect mix of girly & glam. This invitation was created with the blue and pink and printed on white metallic cardstock. The photos are pictured with one layer that is adhered to the backside of the invitation card- the color pictured is called: "Lapis". By adding a layer it creates a fun detail that adds the invitation design. The invitation is paired with a luscious metallic "Boa" pink envelope.

Don't forget that even though we may not have a color on our website due to limited space online, we can special order any colors that the Envelopments line carries!

Next up is "Charlie" -like the Ashley invitation, Charlie is another custom invitation that is now available on our website to be customized! The Charlie design come in: Insert, RSVP, Save the Date, Program, Table Number, Menu & Program! The cute detail of the band with the "H" at the top is duplicated through out the entire design. Danielle had us print her invitation on white matte cardstock and added a layer in "River Rock, which pairs nicely with the mustard yellow type- stuffed nicely in a "London Fog" envelope.

We love the Charlie.

Samantha Featured Recipe // Custom Wedding Invitations

Our poor blog has been neglected because we have been so busy working away in our studio!!!

Check out what we have been up to: First on the long list of blogging that we have to do- we are excited to show you how Coley changed up our Samantha invitation. Since her wedding colors are black, white and green- she chose to have this invitation designed in green and printed on our metallic white cardstock and she added an insert card to match. The cool thing about this is that she decided to have her guest RSVP to her wedding website that we just printed right on the insert card! To top it all off she added a pocket card in "Wicked" to match the color of her design. The pocket cards are great because we adhere the invitation to one side and the additional cards fit neatly in the pocket on the opposite side. It also adds a fun green border to the outside of the invitation card. She chose a "Wicked" envelope to match, which we print the return address free of charge. They decided to leave the fun pink hearts as a cute pop of color.

As you may have already known our papers and add-ons are apart of the Envelopments brand. Although, we do have limited colors on our website we are able to special order anything avaliable in the Envelopments line, so just ask!

We are so excited to see new stuff happening at Envelopments! Along with many great new colors, we are super stoked to see that they are now offering wood textures in 3 awesome color choices! We have been chuggin' away getting this site ready to share with you! We are so excited to announce that we are finally launching- and just in the nick of time for the Boise Wedding Party Show! We have to give a super special shout out to Becca, our web developer for working til the sun came up this past week to get things all ready for you. We need your help to spread the word and help us to have a successful launch right out of the gates! Meet Team Ampersand!!

Hello and welcome to the Dear Ampersand Blog! I bet you and wondering, who the heck are these chicks? Well, we are happy to answer that for you! Nichole (far left) and Francesca (far right) created "Ampersand Studios" in 2009. Both have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a photography emphasis.

We have been living the dream by designing custom stationery along with running a full blown photography company and are loving every bit of it! So much in fact, that they decided to expand onto developing a sister company, "Dear Ampersand" which is where we are today. Now we are able to share our rad designs with rad brides all over! Cool huh? We think so.

Oh yes, the girl in the center is our "Lindsey" which is ironic, since her name is actually Lindsey. The job of 'the Lindsey' is to help us work miracles, talk to you fabulous folks on the phone, and boss around the other people that didn't make the group photo.

We have to say thank you so much to all of our past clients and our future clients for making our business what it is today. We are so grateful to have you.
